TVS Ntorq Race Edition Review 2020: TVS had mentioned that the BS6 update would bring the prices up by 10-15%, considering the fact that its offerings might need to be outfitted with fuel injection for emissions.
That means that the BS6-compliant NTorq is likely to cost near Rs 70K (ex-showroom). It would not justify the inflated cost unless TVS has some features in store for your BS6 NTorq.
Promoting an upgraded scooter with no new usable features or added functionalities and may not attain success at the Indian market where clients are very price-conscious.
In the Race Edition had been launched by TVS a bit later, it would have given some leeway concerning clearing out the BS4 stocks to the brand. It would’ve also helped the brand be ready for the emission standards well ahead of time.

TVS Ntorq Race Edition Review 2020
The 2019 TVS NTorq currently gets a Matte Silver paint job. The scooter was the most awarded this past year and has gotten this celebration paint scheme. Concerning styling, nothing has changed. A front end that’s been derived from the Graphite is got by the TVS NTorq 125.
It has day running LED and 12-inch brakes. It is easily distinguishable among the scooters around. The thick tyres, trendy rear, and T shaped LEDs on the tail lamp make it cool and competitive to check at. The TVS NTorq gets an engine that churns about 9bhp of electricity and comes with CVTi-REVV transmission. It’s geared towards the youth and has proven to be successful.
2019 TVS NTorq 125 Price in India
Certainly, the pricing of TVS NTorq 125 seems to be justified, and it gets all the bells & whistles you’re looking for in a well-priced 125cc scooter with high-class performance too. The price tag won’t hurt anyone for sure! In reality, it is a really well-priced product. TVS has launched the NTorq 125 Rush Edition in India at Rs 63K (ex-Delhi).
This costs Rs 3,000 more over the model that is normal. It sports race-inspired images, an LED headlight also running a hazard switch that is nifty and LED DRL’s. It comes in 2 colors. There are no changes in the motor vehicle. This is the first time any scooter has come to a hazard switch.
2019 TVS NTorq Review: What’s special?
TVS has established the NTorq 125 Race Edition in India at comfy prices, and the new race edition, no matter seems similar, but in reality, provides a bit better handling, and a bit more stability at top speed. Sharp turns to bring no issue, and no matter you are rolling this race edition at high speed for long, its 125cc engine won’t squeal!
2019 TVS NTorq Mileage
Let’s discuss TVS Ntorq Race Edition model’s mileage now. Now, mileage is a big factor, where this new scooter lacks behind form the competitors. We expected it to provide 45-50 Kmpl on highways at least before its launch, but while our test drives from Ahmedabad to Surat, we recorded 44.9 as the mileage. The makers have claimed 60kmpl, and that number doesn’t seem real at all!
That means it won’t be a shock if TVS Ntorq mileage provide 39-42 Kmpl in the city conditions, or even 30! That will impact the sales for sure, and we wish that the further edition of the NTorq brings better mileage. Certainly, under hard acceleration, the fuel efficiency drops to 35km/l as well.

It includes a competitive fascia. This seems a lot more trendy than the Graphite on and using a cool headlamp that has daytime running LED in it. The significant aspect of the styling is the side profile. You can see the dual-tone color shade.
The size is 12-inch, and it’s diamond-cut metal wheels. The disc brake is a new bit added on this scooter, and it’s very beneficial to have it. 2019 TVS Ntorq Race Edition Review Features
This is the very first scooter using Bluetooth connectivity. It reveals who called or has messaged when the phone is paired, shows navigation, and just a battery indicator. The other significant bit about the 125 is its program.
This program will help to find the scooter where you’ve parked it if you do not remember. The bit that is important is that the NTorq 125 has cellphone charging and boot mild. It also receives the fuel cap outside. Certainly, it isn’t a metal body scooter like the Honda Activa 4G.
