Power   8.19 PS @ 7350 rpm Fuel Capacity 10 L

Best Mileage Bike in India Reviews Specs Score: A+

WHAT'S APPEALING

TVS has focused on delivering more mileage than functionality, taking into consideration the fuel pumps are. The 4-speed gearbox seems less but more than makes up as attaining a rate of 90 km/h for this gearbox is an engineering marvel with a refinement that is super. The bike seems somewhat primitive, but the gearshifts are smooth and do not get trapped.

The mid-range torque is well managed with hardly any gear shifts. Powering the bike is a 109cc, fuel-injected engine which produces 8bhp at 7,350rpm and 8.7Nm at 4,500rpm. This is a significant increase in functionality compared to BS4 powerplant. In terms of the hardware, besides the rear suspension is adjustable now, the rest of the cycle components remain unchanged.

The end of the TVS Star City Plus comes with a headlamp with cowl and a small windscreen. The front mudguard is completed. The fuel tank design is neat and easy, with TVS branding and graphics. The TVS Star City Plus delivers a claimed mileage of 86km/l. But we anticipate the bike to return a mileage of in riding conditions.

SPECIAL FEATURES

Best Mileage Bike in India Reviews Feature Score: 9.2

  • The new Star City gets updated styling and new features, aside from the revised engine. the four-speed gearbox continues to handle the Transmission responsibilities.
  • The business claims the new Fi engine is 15 percent more fuel-efficient than its carb variant.
  • The motorcycle packs a lot of features like a complete LED headlamp, a USB mobile charger, a five-step flexible shock absorber at the trunk, and a dual-tone seat. It proceeds to display info.
  • TVS has bestowed the Star City Plus using a new styling. Oil damped forks 5 steps, and upfront adjustable hydraulic shock absorber at rear carry suspension responsibilities out.
  • Braking electricity comes from the hand-operated internally expanding the diameter of up foot and front operated expanding diameter at the rear.
  • One of the strings of features available multi-function console, onboard econometric, service reminder, etc. are included. It gets a bikini fairing, fuel tank, and rear panel, all who give it a more sporty appeal.
THE FINAL ADVICE!

The bike is more than average but is rather narrow, which many of the riders would love. We were pleasantly surprised with the ground clearance of 172 mm. This provides ride over the rural roads. In 109 kgs this burden it very agile and could give a tough competition to the majority of scooters.

The seat height isn’t too high, neither too low in 785 mm. The button tyres at the rear make this bike great for many purpose terrain. The bars are not too broad and flip. The only thing we missed was disk brakes. The brakes have a feel and lock under pressure.

This bike is not giving you much (and you do not anticipate at that price ), but it is surely delivering exactly what it’s supposed to. Yes, the design looks like that of a bike 5 years back, and the new paint scheme does not appear to help, but the bike is strong and long-lasting with cheap spares to utilize. If you buy it? We would say yes, we mean what else could you find for this cost.

3.) Hero Glamour Review – Best mileage bike regarding smooth ride

The Hero Glamour wasn’t that eye pleasing as it premiered but actually it wasn’t meant for that purpose either. Between the colors and the lines, it had been unique. One more fuel efficient bike has been offered by Honda, which is the Hero Glamour. Now, the Hero Glamour has de-throned the Honda CB Shine since the top-selling 125 from the Nation.

This is crucial because, as Hero never tries pointing out, the segment has become the fastest-growing class of motorcycles in the recent past. Because it is a global displacement for commuter motorcycles, it turns out; the 125cc commuter course is also very critical. Indeed, the Glamour was introduced by Hero to the entire world in far.

Why so far? Well, Hero was entering the Argentina marketplace and showing the Glamour there made to get an entrance as well as underlined Hero ambitions. The company exclaims, it has at least 10 percent of its own volumes come from markets other than India, and it needs to be by 2020 in 50 markets. Glamour is a necessary cog in this machine.

Fuel Type   Patrol Standard Warranty (Years)   5 years
Power   10.87 PS @ 7500 rpm Fuel Capacity 13.6 L
Tyre Type   Tubeless Top Speed 95 km/h

Best Mileage Bike in India Reviews Specs Score: A+

WHAT'S APPEALING

If for no other reason for goodwill, Just as the Glamour was unconventional, Hero did not entirely abandon the plan. The Glamour retains a number of the outlines set upbringing the styling and whilst cleanup the proportions. The garish stickering was pared back to extroverted and glowing.

It derives in the Glamour, although the result is that the Glamour does not look excellent, and it appears contemporary and fresh. Attention was paid by Hero into the fairing as well as the layouts that were lighting, and it reveals. Both the curvaceous, although triangular front column along with also the detailed and tail light that is sleek, seems fantastic.

The tail light throws into relief the tail bit that is surprising. The tank and the side are controlled, and however, the result is superior and clean. Another flourish would be the tools that sponsor an analog speedo flanked by tell-tale lights and a screen, which includes the trip odo and gas gauge.

We need Hero to have comprised a clock; it is helpful. The engine is all-new and is founded upon this engine’s bottom-end in the Splendor. The remainder is all-new.

SPECIAL FEATURES

Best Mileage Bike in India Reviews Feature Score: 9.0

  • Hero’s tune meets BSIV and attracts to the motorcycle 27 percent more electricity at 11.4PS at 7,500rpm. Torque is up a similar amount in 11Nm, which peaks at 6,500rpm.That’s impressive at this price.
  • The framework for your Glamour is also all-new. Hero introduces its fresh single-downtube cradle frame on this motorcycle. The frame is 1.3kg lighter and also a big reason why the new Glamour is all about 3kg lighter than the old model.
  • Braking, similarly, is good. Its initial bite is strong and is enough sharp. Besides that, the force build-up is stable and predictable.
  • Friendlier and feedback-ier wheels of this bike make us praise this bike’s ride quality. The engine has refinement, performance, and also the guarantee of refinement; this much is clear.
  • The dynamics are surprisingly capable and that I rather enjoyed riding the wee bike in a racetrack, which is a huge surprise.
  • The design is neat, and that basic cleanliness has been guaranteed by Hero – such as a choke on its handlebar is taken care of.
THE FINAL ADVICE!

The motor is a great one. We snapped the Glamour at a racetrack about one hour beyond the capital, and it proved to be an engine that was sensible. The torque spread allowed you to be idle – for riding in traffic, a good indication – while the motor remains smooth if vocal at high revs and nearing the 100kmph markers. The fuel-injected engine produced a smoother torque curve.

It scores pretty good on rideability and refinement and claims 70 -72kmpl in the city. That is a job well done. We rode motorcycles that were new with under a 100km on their dials in riding feel. certainly, vibration were non-issue, and its engines felt automatically written. The step-up in power made the carburetor version feel a smidge more punchy, but the texture is comparable to the two versions.

4.) Mahindra Centuro Review – Best mileage bike regarding smooth gear shifting

So there we were near on the rough streets to test this bike, as we read certain riders’ reviews that this bike is the real traffic fighter! Most people were doubtful regarding the selection of a place to test the latest commuter offering of Mahindra while we definitely loved the location.

However, an hour’s drive through some of the most paved and not to mention roads instantly into the empty highway that were calm laid our doubts. In reality, after we reached the hotel challenge our all 3 testers were very eager to explain their experience with this bike.

Coming to the bike, the Centuro was unveiled with just the latter getting started earlier this season with the Pantero. While the Pantero has been an improved version of the let’s just say’not powerful’ Stallio, the Centuro targets to be Mahindra’s flagship 110cc bike offering not just technology but a good deal of firsts for its section. Read the full Mahindra Centuro Review HERE.

Power   8.5 PS @ 7500 rpm Fuel Capacity 12.7 L
Tyre Type   Tubeless Top Speed 92 km/h

Best Mileage Bike in India Reviews Specs Score: A

WHAT'S APPEALING

Putting our eyes onto the bike the first time revealed that the bike is unchanged from the previous time we watched it, which isn’t really a terrible thing barring some minor bits, of course. But the Centuro looks quite good in the flesh. No pieces around, and everything seems quite contemporary compared to the contest.

Mahindra has learned from its mistakes, and it shows. There’s a large headlight. However, what adds further flair is the small variety of LED parking lights that appear very good when they come on.

The tank includes a design that is neat and boasts a flush fuel filler cap, but a bit of problem here is that it looks somewhat small behind that massive headlight. A somewhat bigger tank would certainly have added more mass and also more appeal and not to mention, make far better use of their knee recesses.

But, does that go heavy on the overall appeal of the bike? No, not at all. Coming to the positive side again, the tool console is designed as well and offers a multitude of information.

SPECIAL FEATURES

Best Mileage Bike in India Reviews Feature Score: 8.8

  •  The window on the left has a fuel gauge that is digital but provides a Distance. Thumb the starter and the engine settles to a wonderful idle that is refined.
  • Shift the mesh gearbox that is continuous into original, and the Centuro gets off to a beginning.
  • Refinement is good, and dare we say with its competition that is Japanese.
  • Mahindra has done a wonderful job with the wheels as well as the 130mm back drum done admirably well through our runs without even showing signs of fading.
  • Having 96-bit access that is protected, by even inserting a duplicate key, an alarm will be raised. Yes, you read the Centuro raises the alarm like a car with a safety system does.
THE FINAL ADVICE!

Apart from all updates, the most striking was that the stability under braking is improved. A part of the credit has to go to the suspension system that is new too. The Centuro isn’t a head-turner but comes across as a decent looking bike, but it does put less pressure on your wallet regarding fueling in contrast to those bikes, which attract you by a bit of looks.

Honestly, we came away quite impressed with all the Centuro. Mahindra thinks of an extremely competent product that gets the merchandise and consequently has done its homework. An engine, decent looks, and some features signify this time Mahindra has a winner on its hands. Keep watching this space for more!

5.) Bajaj Platina 110 H Gear review

For the longest time, we have lamented the lack of a gearbox and front disk brake in commuters. Manufacturers’ debate, though, has been that buyers aren’t ready to cover these’extras,’ besides not feeling the demand for them.

We felt that this contradicts the very interests of buyers, in the meaning that most buyers select 110cc commuters for fuel-efficiency amounts, and a fifth cog is only going to bulge up efficiency. However, Bajaj Auto has paid heed and has just launched the Platina 110 H Gear. Based on Bajaj, stands for Highway or pleased before you start scratching your head the H. Interesting?

There is a lot of other upgrades also and that I spent a couple of hours riding this bike to figure out how much better its H Gear is, compared to the ‘standard’ variant of the Platina 110.

SPECS

Fuel Type   Patrol Standard Warranty (Years)   2 years
Power   8.6 PS @ 7000 rpm Fuel Capacity 11 L
Tyre Type   Tubeless Top Speed
90 km/h

Best Mileage Bike in India Reviews Specs Score: A

WHAT'S APPEALING

The biggest improvement is the equipment, and Bajaj has the gear lever to add a unique-looking linkage to enhance the quality of gearshifts and to decrease effort. Then there is the instrument cluster that has a large screen flanking a big analog speedometer.

The screen integrates vitals like a fuel gauge, odometer and trip meter, and clock, but furthermore, it’s a gear position readout along with pushes for upshifts or downshifts. The display doesn’t show the amount 5 but displays H instead, although when you change from fourth too!

The front brake disk uses what Bajaj calls for the anti-skid steering system, its version of a system, and is a larger, 240mm one as opposed to 220mm before. Bajaj informs us and has linked the two wheels automatically despite the rear being the front a disc brake, and a mechanical drum brake. It has applied for a patent to the system.

SPECIAL FEATURES

Best Mileage Bike in India Reviews Feature Score: 8.6

  • The tool console is designed well and offers a multitude of information. The window on the left doesn’t only have a fuel gauge that is digital but also for the first time in this section provides a Distance.
  • Thumb the starter and its engine settles into a wonderful refined idle.
  • Alter the continuous mesh 4-speed gearbox, and the Centuro gets off to some nice, eager start.
  • Refinement dare we say on par and is good. It’s only when we tried to rev it difficult a couple of vibes trickled in throughout the foot-pegs and the handlebar.
  • Mahindra has done appreciable job with the brakes without even showing signs of fading, and the 130mm rear , front drum set up performed exceptionally well through our runs.
  • Having access that is protected, by even adding a duplicate key, an alarm will be raised clock. Yes, you read the Centuro raises the alarm like a car using a safety system does.
THE FINAL ADVICE!

Bajaj Auto informs us the Platina has really gone from strength to strength as it was launched far back in 2006. It’s a power to reckon within the 110cc segment when you think about that Bajaj is moving a little less than 70,000 units of the Platina family every month.

Needless to say, constant improvements to the bike have helped Bajaj rake in the amounts, and the set of updates guarantees that Platina will perform much better. Bajaj is fully confident of crossing the 70 thousands units mark soon, and explaining how amazing the H Gear is, we can’t resist from appreciating the maker.

The bike is costing you Rs 53,376 ex-showroom for its drum brake model and Rs 55,373 ex-showroom for the disk brake version, and it is a premium of about Rs 3,000 to 5,000 over the Platina 110. And these are the refinement and great prices when the updates are considered by you, comfort, and performance.

Additionally, you cannot overlook the fact that its five-speed gearbox gives the Platina 110 a distinct advantage over its rivals like the TVS Radeon, Hero Splendor Pro, Hero Passion XPro, and Honda Dream Yuga.

Like the Bajaj CT 100 and the Hero Splendor, there is another bike that’s generated quite a buzz. That’s the Hero Passion. Hero, if they had been Hero-Honda, launched the Passion back in 2003. In the past 15 years that the Passion has had several forms like Passion Pro, Passion Pro TR, Fire X Guru, Passion Pro Plus, and now the latest iteration is your Hero Passion Pro i3s.

WHAT'S APPEALING

In a claimed 87 km/h, the Hero Passion Pro i3s has a speed for commute and is a bit more than scooters. The Hero has attempted to maintain the engine strain-free rather than pushing at its limitation. Together with decent performance, Hero has also managed to pull outstanding efficiency figures out of this bike.

The bike is not that light at 115 kgs, but it surely is comfortable. The bottom clearance of 165mm is good, but the a few larger speed breakers create issues. 725 mm handlebars make it easier to maneuver around in town. The engine is mounted unlike other bikes, and a gloss black cover has been set by Hero into the matte black exhaust. That’s a combo that is elegant and nice.

SPECIAL FEATURES

Best Mileage Bike in India Reviews Feature Score: 8.5

  • The headlamp is a bit bigger. Besides that, now, it has an arc on its sides along with a case. Its visor appears like a mohawk on the mind, and body-colored mirrors are finally got by you.
  • The spoke wheels are gone and have given means for new metals and suppose what we also get a disk brake.
  • The easy tank that is flowing is exactly the same that flows into that ample seat that has ample softness and thick. The tail lamp but has a shape of a boomerang and protruding and is bigger.
  • The back indicators are clear. The grab rail is long, maybe that is the reason why we see three people sitting. All have support.
  • The instrument cluster is a mixture of analog and technology. The engine’s linear power delivery lets you make your way through traffic in fifth even at speeds below 40kmph that’s impressive since this is just what a lot of commuter buyers want.
THE FINAL ADVICE!

Besides all updates, the most impressive was the stability under braking enhanced; part of the credit has to go to the front suspension system that is new too. The Centuro isn’t a head-turner but comes across as rather a decent looking bike. Honestly, we came away very impressed with all the Centuro. Mahindra has completed its homework and, as a result, thinks of a product that gets the goods to stand out amongst the competition.

An engine, appearances, and also some features signify that time, Mahindra certainly has a winner on its hands. For only a 97cc bike, the Hero Passion Pro i3s creates a generous 8 bhp. That is for your daily commute. This is mong the toughest, most durable bikes. You have a living legend if you have this.

8.) Bajaj Discover 110 Review

Bajaj Auto has played very well with the Discover series during its 14 decades using a large number of versions available. While Bajaj thought the customer could be spoilt for choice with its own variety – 100, 125, 135, 150 – and tech updates (125 ST monoshock), the plan backfired.

Several Discover engine cycles have come and gone, sometimes without a hint (recall the 150 S & F). This meant that Bajaj had to take some step back and forth on its strategy for what was formerly a strong selling commuter. Buyers were left with the popular Discover 125, the original version that controls numbers for the manufacturer, and the Discover universe has been enlarged by Bajaj with a 110 cc model.

WHAT'S APPEALING

The brief provided to the designers was straightforward; the styling must create one recognize the bike as a Bajaj Discover. This with a few tweaks to make it look modern. Everything you see here is the Discover down into the tank’s styling. The tweaks, however, contain a cowl and side panels to break the monotony.

Bajaj has added several embellishments, for example, DRLs plus a sharper visor. As it wraps around the headlamp, appearing as one unit, the DRLs’ integration is awesome. While riding discover 110 by our expert in Pune’s chaotic the engine felt at ease in fourth and third. We could stay in fourth (the best equipment) at 20kmph with no indication of protest against the engine.

All We had to do was roll on the throttle when the road opened up, and the bike would pull without any hiccups. This degree of rideability will be appreciated by people who favor a relaxed commute. Such rideability’s other benefit is improved fuel economy. At an ARAI certified 76.3kmpl, the Bajaj says that the new Discover offers far better fuel economy than the competition.

SPECIAL FEATURES
